Our party of 12 plus four small people had a fantastic week in Domaine de Nerige recently. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated and the terrace and pool areas were great places to relax. We had the choice of two very well kitted out kitchens and also made great use of the barbecue and outdoor dining facilities.
The games barn and boules court were well used and there was parking for a fleet of cars. It was a ten minute drive down the hill to Limoux where the supermarket provided for all our food and drinks needs.
Our biggest praise goes to the owners Sandie and David. They were on hand and extremely helpful and friendly on the few occasions when we needed them but for the rest of the time we didn't know they were there. Perfect hosts.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here for a large group of family and friends......we would love to return at some point in the future. Thank you Sandie and David.....all your hard work renovating this beautiful home has certainly paid off.

We have just returned from two weeks holiday spent at the truly wonderful Domaine de Nérige. The photos on the website are fantastic, but are still not as good as the real thing!
There is everything you could possibly want, and the comfort is exemplary, but what makes this the very best property we have ever had (and we have had a lot over the years, all over France!) is the care and attention to our comfort and enjoyment from Sandie and David who own it. Nothing was too much trouble, and their friendliness and kindness was so lovely that frankly, by the time we left, it felt like we were leaving family behind!
Whatever you do, try all of the wines (and beers) handily stocked for you – they are excellent, and the food Sandie prepared for us was fabulous - don’t skimp on the desserts, you’ll regret it if you do!
It is no surprise and no mystery that Domaine de Nérige is booked up so far in advance. If you have a “bucket list” of holidays, put this one at the very top and you will not regret it. We had the most wonderful holiday and unreservedly recommend Domaine de Nerige, as we have to everyone we have spoken to.
Thank you so much Sandie and David for letting us live in your glorious home for two weeks, it was unforgettable – just like the two of you.

Thanks again for allowing us to experience your lovely house – we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed very much staying at Domaine de Nerige, the house exceeded our expectations, in style, comfort and location. Your catering for dinner was wonderful!! The shops at LeClerc had everything we needed, the vineyards nearby were great and so welcoming, Carcassonne was fascinating, Limoux was really nice and cycling along the Canal de Midi was delightful – but coming back to the house at the end of the day was so relaxing and the highlight!
We hope to come back again hopefully sometime in 2018.

We have just returned from Domaine de Nérige what a fabulous house and the owners made everything perfect during our stay. All our needs were met and more, they just wanted to ensure we were happy and enjoyed our stay, they arranged catering, shopping, where to eat, what to do in the surrounding areas etc. On our last evening she arranged a tapas night for 18 of our friends at Domaine de Nérige as it was my husbands 60th birthday celebrations we had a ball and fabulous memories were made. Domaine de Nérige is a special place to stay everything was stress free from the moment we arrived to the time we sadly had to say goodbye, a huge big thank you to the owners and housekeepers. We so enjoyed our time in France you are all so special too.

What a beautiful, well appointed home in a wonderful location. Despite the odd bit of rain we and our guests enjoyed our two week stay immensely. Thank you to the owners who were perfect hosts – helpful, friendly and on hand when needed, without encroaching an inch on our privacy. We stayed at this property in June 2014 and will be returning in May / June 2015.
Although I have not been asked to provide any feedback I would like to send some comments for future visitors:
This house is superb, it is comfortable, clean, beautifully furnished, extremely well appointed and very spacious; Sandie has ensured that visitors want for nothing - from plates to books - and everything in between. It is also quiet, secluded and safe.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, the bedding luxurious and beautifully laundered.
The terrace has the most fantastic views of the Pyrenees and several places to sit for eating/drinking/chatting etc. There is enough space for 12 people to holiday for a week and not feel "on top of one another".
Whilst there is loads to do in the area it is also impossible to summon up the motivation to leave as there are plenty of activities on offer at the house and of course a great pool.
I cannot find anything negative to say about Domaine de Nérige at all, we had the most fabulous relaxing week here with a group of friends and we are returning in 2015.

We recently spent two weeks at the property, with six other friends. The whole place has been beautifully decorated with bright, fresh colours, along with the two, lavishly supplied kitchens. Most of the bedrooms have their own sitting room and full ensuite bathroom. We had the yellow bedroom which overlooked the courtyard and the mountains. The inside of the property is truly as attractive as the pictures on the website. There are two large sitting rooms, including a big screen TV. The outdoor pool and dining area are well maintained and a joy to use. The very generous sized patio, overlooking the Pyrénées, is wired for sound and can be lit up at night, for outdoor dining and dancing. The owner suggested, one night, that we try a local restaurant, call Gayda. If you stay at the property, you must go to the Gayda for dinner. On Sunday night they will present you with a truly gourmet meal, plus all the wines to complement the five star meal, and all for around 25 Euros per head. (We went three times). Everything you need for a fabulous holiday is provided at the property. You'll love it.

You can still continue your search for other holiday homes in Southern France, but it's not worth the effort. Thanks to the owners for two weeks of perfect vacation in their charming house, where nothing is missing.
